'Whoa. This is Jeff Ott? The guy from super-activist punk rock band Fifteen? No way. I can't believe it.

Sure the cover looks like it belongs to him. His daughter is proudly portrayed with a gun in one hand and a flower in the other with a T-shirt that says "I'm a Full-Time Job." That's typical Ott.

What happens once you put the CD in is not. It's, umm, what the Barenaked Ladies would sing if they played the School of America's Watch at Fort Benning every year.

CD highlight: song title "911 Is Still A Joke." Nice Public Enemy reference.

The messages of public service, justice and goodwill still serve as the inspiration for Ott's songwriting. It's a noble cause. The medium in which he chooses to convey those messages though are a bit questionable. At the very least, it's different. It'll have you reeling for a while, trying to digest it all.
