"One of the best albums in the sucks category. It's decent and bearable but it makes you wonder if Lane Staley recorded the vocals for this album shortly before his death and they just didn't credit him for it. There's a heavy influence from the former fellow Seattle band Alice in Chains. Also, this album is incredibly predictable. It's a fun record to play the Guess the Next Progression game to. The instruments may vary in nature, but the writing is stale all the same. High point: The piano work sticks out as the most thought-out instrument on the album. Some of the guitar licks sound like Chris Walla wrote them too. Low point: Pick an album, any album and this will most likely sound akin to it."
